This loan can be up to €75,000 and this loan is issued at 0% through the associative platform without personal guarantee to anyone with a construction, acquisition or business development project.

“This loan exists to help entrepreneurs enhance their equity to easily access the bank loan that will allow them to implement their project,” explains Andréa Monteiro, Entrepreneurship Development Manager in charge of the Paris Saclay district.

Caroline Letelior, last year took advantage of a loan of 20,000 euros to acquire the de Nouvelle chocolate factory (rue François Mauthon), which is run by her retired parents.

“I managed to get my loan from the bank”

“It was really welcome because at the age of 21, I had very little personal contribution and I already had a mortgage to pay off. With this honorary loan I was able to get my loan from the bank,” the young woman rejoices.

If in recent years, she’s already been helping her in-laws at Christmas and Easter, Caroline LeTaylor does not regret leaving her job as a real estate consultant to carry out her own takeover project.

“It is so exciting to work in the chocolate business and to invest in this business for the long term, which I hope to be able to pass on to my children,” she says.

“The agenda is quite full”

Not far from there, near the market, Coralie Chambod also managed to implement her project to take over the hairdressing salon located on Charles de Gaulle Street thanks to a loan of 15,000 euros.

The entrepreneur changed the name of the salon (formerly Actuel Coiffure and now the Capizen Institute) and carried out the renovations last March.

“The schedule is quite full and the days tend to be long at the moment,” says Coralie Shambod.

Before opening her salon, Coralie Shambaud worked for a long time in high-end establishments in Hauts-de-Seine, which allowed her to gain experience with hair loss after chemotherapy or other medical treatments.

A recovery that has proven successful because the entrepreneur is actively looking for a beautician to answer the bookings that are pouring in. “Because of the lack of candidates, I have to take on temporary cosmetic services at the moment,” she admits.

Finally, the honorary loan helped Marie Brilac to acquire M’Elodie de Fleurs and then create Le Cœur de Marie last April, thanks to €12,000 from the Essonne initiative. “The 3-year sustainability rate for companies assisted is 92%,” Andrea Monteiro says.

In 2021, the union platform financially supported 151 companies in Essonne and awarded the equivalent of €2.5 million in honorary loans.
